At Tracy McCrackin Photography, we are committed to providing a seamless and positive shopping experience for our customers. These policies are necessary to protect you and the Studio. Please review our refund and return policy below:
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital photography and downloadable products, we maintain a strict no-refund policy. However: If you receive the incorrect image (as documented on your invoice), we will promptly send the correct image to you free of charge.
Non-refundable digital items include
- Gift cards
Downloadable software products
- Downloadable images
- Sale items
Physical Merchandise
For non-photographic merchandise purchased through our suppliers:
- Refunds are issued only if the product is defective, broken, or not functioning as intended.
- Customers must provide photographic evidence of the issue within 30 business days of receiving the product.
- Return shipping costs for defective items may be covered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Process
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds, free from Fraud, will be processed within 30 business days, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund:
1. Check your bank account or credit card statement.
2. Contact your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary.

Shipping Costs for Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- For returns over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your return without tracking information.
To protect our customers and business against fraudulent transactions, we have implemented the following refund and return measures:
Non-Refundable Fraudulent Purchases
We are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy shopping experience for all our customers. As part of this commitment, we take fraudulent transactions very seriously.
- No Refunds for Fraudulent Purchases: Purchases that are identified as fraudulent or made with unauthorized payment methods (e.g., stolen credit cards, unauthorized use of accounts, etc.) will not be eligible for a refund. We reserve the right to cancel such transactions immediately to prevent further misuse.
- Transaction Review Process: If fraud is suspected during or after a transaction, the purchase will be flagged for investigation. This may involve consulting with our payment processors and verifying details with the legitimate account holder. If fraud is confirmed, the order will be canceled without further notice.
- Reporting to Authorities: In cases of confirmed fraud, we reserve the right to report the incident, including all relevant transaction details, to the appropriate authorities and payment processors for further investigation and enforcement.
- Customer Notification: If a legitimate transaction is mistakenly flagged as fraudulent, we will contact the purchaser to resolve the issue promptly. Please ensure that all billing information provided at checkout is accurate and matches the details on file with your payment provider. Verification typically takes an additional **2–3 business days**. However, in cases where further investigation is required, this period may be extended. We will notify customers of any significant delays beyond this timeframe.
- Order Cancellations: If we are unable to verify the payment method within the verification period, we may cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.
